Seattle is a major departure and arrival port for cruises to Alaska.
A number of cruise lines operate itineraries from Seattle including Holland America, Carnival, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean International and Princess Cruise Lines.
Most of these cruises are 7 days in length and travel through the Inside Passage, making stops at Ketchikan, Juneau, and Skagway, with some making a port of call at Sitka.
Holland America also has a 14 day cruise package that includes the Southeast Alaska ports as well as Homer, Anchorage and Kodiak.
Seattle cruises depart from either the Bell Street terminal or Pier 91, with both locations close to downtown and major hotels.
Seattle is one of the most popular cruise ports in North America as it allows vacationers to combine an exciting Alaskan cruise with the opportunity to explore the attractions of Puget Sound and the greater Seattle area.
